?I drew a lot of inspiration for this novel from my own life experiences, including my own journey to find Jesus,? said Penrose. ?I have been fortunate enough to have traveled the world extensively, so my main character Elaine?s journey is set against an ever-changing back drop of new places.?

After dealing with the illness and eventual passing of her father and experiencing frequent moves across the United States as a child, main character Elaine thrust into historical situations like in London during Princess Diana?s funeral and in Kuwait when the U.S. invades Iraq. Through the instability and turbulence she experiences along her journey, Elaine manages to overcome all of the trials in her life because of her steadfast relationship with Jesus.

Penrose?s goal in writing this novel is to help spread the word of Jesus and show people how important a relationship with Jesus is for a happy life. Elaine?s story serves as an inspiration for those looking to overcome obstacles in their lives and to forge a personal relationship with Jesus.
