The new release, titled ?I Am A Pole (And So Can You!),? will follow a flag pole trying to decide who it really is.

The book will be released in May by Grand Central Publishing.

?It's been a lifelong dream of mine to write a children's book,? Colbert said in a statement. ?I hope the minutes you and your loved ones spend reading it are as fulfilling as the minutes I spent writing it.?

The title follows the format of the title of Colbert?s first book, ?I Am America (And So Can You!).? Colbert?s third book, ?America Again: Re-Becoming the Greatness We Never Weren't,? will be released in October.

When Colbert introduced his concept for his children?s book to Sendak during the interview on his TV show, Sendak said, ?The sad thing is, I like it.?

Colbert is best known as the host of Comedy Central?s program ?The Colbert Report? which he conducts in-character as Stephen Colbert, a right-wing TV host. Colbert often maintains the persona in interviews and public appearances.
